Triangle Plone Boot Camps 2007
This year TriZPUG, in conjunction with plonebootcamps.com, is offering three Plone Boot Camps in late July through early August: Regular, Advanced, and a one day Introduction.
- Monday July 30 - Friday August 3 :: Plone Boot Camp
- For the third time, we're coming back to where it all began: the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. This bootcamp is offered to the general public, and is aimed at people with HTML or web design experience, people with some or no Python experience, people with some or no Zope/Plone experience. It covers using Plone, customizing, and deploying Plone sites.
- Monday August 6 - Thurday August 9 :: Advanced Plone Boot Camp
- Want to learn the professional techniques and advanced concepts of developing for Plone? This hands-on, advanced class covers the concepts that follow our popular Developer Bootcamp, and build on the skills learned in this course. The Advanced Bootcamp is intended for people who have taken our developer bootcamp, or who have a similar, advanced level of experience as Plone customizers and developers. This class is not appropriate for people who are just learning Plone, or looking to learn the core skills to build a Plone site or product.
- Friday August 10 :: Introduction to Plone
- Interested in content management or web development, but not certain if Plone is for you? Or is your department/company using Plone, but you'd like a friendly hands-on course to help you use the system? This course is intended for you! This course is intended for:
- evaluators of content management systems
- students and developers looking at Plone as a solution
- content managers/editors who would like to learn how to use Plone
